Watching Sky news this morning as usual they had people on reviewing the papers. Peter Price was one of them. He made the comment "Trump really scares me" What and Putin dosen't ? Make me laugh well cry actually how many people are against the leader and the country that would save our bacon. After atrocities you never see protests outside the Russian embassy. While there was smallish protest when China and Saudi Arabia's leaders came here. It would pale in comparison to the amount of left wing numpties that would come out for Trump ! And as for Trump scaring people Ted Cruz would be scarier and Hillary wasn't opposed to sending in the troops !

They're a bit politically biased are Sky.
I remember a report about UKIP gaining support all around the country.
When they handed back to the studio presenter she said ''Yes a disturbing report there about UKIP.''

Like the BBC they must have had the nod to go after Trump because he isn't ''an establishment man.''

Ahh the lefties and their trump hate. Last year they were going apeshit with their protests about him around the world because he was a "misogynst". At the same time in .. I forget the country I think it was pakistan .. they were passing a law that made it so men who r@ped under age girls were let off with it if they then married the girl.

Number of outraged protests by lefties + feminists? : Zero.

It's true though. THEY JUST CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Now I look this law was going to be brought in in Turkey but I think they eventually they dropped it after protests there. (But the absence of them here was "deafening"). Unfortunately, I see that Tunisia apparently allows it? ScaredSad

B0ll0x dave! I have cousins who live in Kentucky so I know it's not true. Mind you one of them did kill his new wife, I asked why did you do that ? He told me it was because she was a virgin ! What's the problem with that I asked to which he replied "If she wasn't good enough for her own family, she sure as hell isn't good enough for ours" Shocked

Many USA child marriages take place when the bride is pregnant. How do you think a 14yo gets pregnant?  What crime is committed when that happens?

Age of consent varies from state to state. Like here lots of old laws that have never been changed. Back in the days of the wild west, grass on the pitch game on Shocked

18 years old for Federal law which when I was in the military we had to adhere to. Stayed with a mate in Kentucky. His neighbours both 16 were married. Looked weird them getting the school bus together !

None in those states as the age of consent is 14.
Anyways neither State has passed a law similar to that which JC highlighted so again why make your comment?

it should be fairly obvious but I'll spell it out,  the basis of both custom is religious.
