Had an astronaut doing some work, moving the camera about but has positioned it in one place now.

Why can't you any stars or satellites.Confused

Earth and parts of ISS must be too bright so stars don't show up.

As in the daytime on Earth.
Report The Leopard April 8, 2018 6:19 PM BST
Satellites may be too small and far away.
Report Make my hay April 8, 2018 6:22 PM BST
it's not bright it's dark, the sky is black and where are the 2,271 satellites currently in orbit? should be able to see some of those.

Make my hay - thinly veiled moon landing conspiracy theorist and Area 51 proponent Happy

too far away? are you saying the satellites are under those clouds  or much higher up in orbit?
Report The Leopard April 8, 2018 6:28 PM BST
Most likely higher up.

satellites can't be that much   higher or they'd be out of  the earths orbit and  wouldn't be able to spin at over 1000 mph.
Report Make my hay April 8, 2018 6:46 PM BST
That is coming live from the International Space Station which is out of the Earths orbit so the satellites must be lower but where are they? - It's fake. Laugh
Report Get me a drink April 8, 2018 6:51 PM BST
The astronuts on ISS are faked, there was a green screen malfunction shown on you tube where they faded out.

If that's a proven fake, anything and everything else could be.
Report The Leopard April 8, 2018 6:52 PM BST
ISS is at 400km and orbits every 92 mins

Geo-stationary satellites orbit at 35,780 km

You tube vid was a fake.

Report Get me a drink April 8, 2018 6:59 PM BST
From memory I don't think it was faked as I seem to remember the background their bodies were blocking coming into view. The only other thing it could have been is if they teleported to the starship Enterprise.

I'll try to find it in my youtube history a bit later.

but now you're saying the ISS is  400km away?
Report The Leopard April 8, 2018 7:02 PM BST
The camera is on the ISS....the Earth is 400km away.
Report Make my hay April 8, 2018 7:05 PM BST
yes so it's out of earth's bright atmosphere, so should be able to see the stars.
