There was another song called Walking In The Rain, which Grace Jones covered on the wonderful Nightclubbing LP.
Also Del Shannon announced that he was walking in the rain, to end this misery on Runaway, a line which the Bunnymen went on to nick for the song Over The Wall on their second LP. Then there's Television's Marquee Moon, which kicks off with the darkness doubling, lightning striking itself and Tom Verlaine listening, listening to the rain, but hearing, hearing something else. |
