By chance I've watched the Victoria Derbyshire program this morning, glad I did. Thanks to the program I found out that the government is changing the bereavement benifits payment from up to twenty years to a paltry eighteen months. I did not vote for the Conservative party to do things like this, total fxxking disgrace Angry I have no problem with overseas aid but. Do have a problem with it being a mandatory 0.7 % of our GDP. Especially in light of policies such as this.

I am not convinced that people should get payments of up to 20 years when their partner dies. I understand the idea there should be some initial extra help but 20 years is ridiculous. If a partner leaves his wife and kids they would not get this so why payments for so long if a partner dies?

you would have thought the Tories secret deals selling weapons to the Saudis would make them enough so they treat hard up people with a little more dignity

I'd vote Labour up here if it meant keeping the SNP out.

Jezza is certain to be the next PM whatever we think. His anti semitic views will lose him up to 260 thousand votes from one section of the community but will get him up to 3 million votes from a different section of the community.

You and I will ALWAYS disagree so there really is no point. But a little clue to start off with is his defence of the mural.

I think he'd already lost them.

The editor of Jewish News was just on the radio. He said that at the last election, 4% of British Jews voted Labour.

I was astonished at that figure - I thought it would have been more like 40%.

Jews aint getting raped. They're getting the odd twatter message or a dodgy cartoon or, wait for it.... a mural!!! 7000 years of persecution and they're throwing a tantrum about 'art

That's how it starts. Probably alarming for the Jewish community when it meets with aquiesence of (possibly) the next PM.  Ring any bells?

Put this out there this morning, faking outraged but had to go out. Read the first few responses. anxious no way now, not switch Corbyn as the choice. The defence of this country will always come first with me although successive governments have seriously depleted our armed forces we still at least have a nuclear deterrent and a Prime Minister who would be prepared to use it if hit first. And yes to insider agree 20 years is to long that however is or was for women. For men it is until your children reach 18 and are in full time education which is what I believe it should be for men and women now. 18 months is a fxxking joke who could find a job that could cover the bills with the hours between 9 and 3.30 not forgetting school holidays
