Scoring will be as follows:
Participants: First Correct Answer: 3 Points – Second: 2 Points – Third: 1 Point
Quizmaster: No Correct Answers: 3 Points – One Correct: 2 Points – Two Correct: 1 Point – Three Correct: Nil Points
Scores will be updated after every 10 questions (short break) – The first question is… can you beat the Quizmaster?
If a song uses brackets – (Don’t Fear) The Reaper, for example – I will accept ‘The Reaper’ or 'Don’t Fear The Reaper' to aid faster posting.
If it is clear an answer is known but not quite accurate I will also award the point (Quizmaster word is final). An example of this would be Salisbury Hill instead of Solsbury Hill. Ambiguous questions will also be taken into consideration. One of the questions requires two answers; both must be correct to gain the points.
The time to answer each question will be question dependent with a minimum of 20 seconds awarded regardless. Points will only be given for those that answer before the actual answer is revealed by the quizmaster. I wish all participants the very best of luck!

Between mid 2008 and mid 2010 there were 700+ post quiz threads on here at least once a week. Some of the bigger quiz threads would get 2,000+ posts. Then they 'upgraded' the forum and they just couldn't work anymore .Live view makes it easier but it was a while later before they introduced that

I look forward to one of yours squares. I just checked back and noticed I made one or two small errors with the scoring, but nothing that upset the final results, thankfully. I'll be a little more careful next week.
