The information provided by the police beggars belief, but will actually surprise no-one.
The persons wanted for questioning for this cowardly and brutal unprovoked attack are (ludicrously) described as being of 'Asian appearance', which is about as meaningless as it gets. We can only begin to wonder why this useless and unhelpful description has been issued.
The victim's appearance is not described. I assume he can't be a white man or the police would naturally already be talking of a Racist attack and a Hate Crime. Right.
Go careful out there on the Manchester Metrolink Tram System ladies and gentlemen. Who would have thought that this fantastic Metrolink and the gentler world of Trams would be associated with horror stories like this?

CCTV footage shows the teenagers stamping on the man more than 100 times before leaving him for dead. The 49-year-old man was brutally assaulted at the Metrolink station in Chadderton, Greater Manchester.
His ordeal continued even after he was knocked unconscious by the boys, described as Asian males aged between 15 and 18. A tram arrived during the attack, and the gang still did not stop. Instead detectives said the gang “played to the audience.” What audience ? |

A man was dragged out his car before being brutally attacked with a hammer after getting off a tram.
Police were called to Derker Metrolink stop in Oldham on Thursday night. A man, in his 40s, got off a tram from Manchester at around 7.30pm. He walked to the tram stop car park, on Cromford Street, before being jumped by a group of men. They dragged him from his Vauxhall Corsa and attacked him with a hammer. Officers want to speak to seven people in connection with the attack. The men are described as Asian males, aged in their late teens to early 20s. My home town has had these problems for decades now, but nobody wants to mention the elephant in the room , still no one was ever charged for the murder of Gavin Hopley.

Mr Hopley, from Heywood near Bury, had been injured in an unprovoked attack while trying to hail a taxi home with two friends in the early hours of last Saturday morning. The three strayed into the district of Glodwick, which has a high Pakistani population and a history of hostility towards white people, and were set upon by a gang of Asians carrying sticks. Mr Hopley, a security guard, was beaten ferociously about the head. The other two youths, aged 16 and 17, managed to escape. |

I am from Manchester and and its mainly the south side of the city that has a big Asian population, although more towards bury , oldham , rochdale etc does have big asian areas and now a lot of poles, romanians etc
