I don't really get him to be honest and don't find him in the slightest bit amusing but fair play to the bloke, he has made truckloads of cash and obviously he has a big following on both sides of the pond so you can't argue with that.

I don't know who he is so have just googled him. Something about the late late show? Not seen that and still none the wiser, perhaps a blessing in disguise?

I don't dislike him as he's made his career on his personality which is to be applauded in these vain, looks and body important times. Much more annoying would be his greedy pal Flintoff especially after the 'boxing' debacle,at one point he was never off the box.

I remember a sort of 'incident' between Corden and I a few years ago on the London Underground. I've no idea what caused it, but by pure chance I found myself standing just a few feet away from Corden and a very scruffy looking mate of his. Oh, by the way, this was about 6 months or so before he got the Late Late Show gig. For some reason he started glaring at me and was giving me the evils as they say. I tried to avoid his gaze, but he just kept on staring at me. At one point I thought he was going to say something very unpleasant to me, but it wasn't until I started to talk to my nephew who was next to me that he looked away and carried on his conversation with his scruffy looking mate. I felt very uncomfortable about the while thing.
I think he could be a bit of a monster off camera. No words were exchanged between him and I, just stressful body language on his part. I'm sure if you're a mate of his, he's absolutely fine, but do you remember the spat he had live on camera between him and the actor who played Captain Pickard in Star Trek. That was very odd, and never really found out what it was all about!

I think Patrick Stewart was making fat jokes for which he took offence I've said it before but I don't understand why fat people who've gotten fat through gluttony or being idle take offence if they were that bothered they wouldn't have let it get that far in the first place.

Larry Lamb told a story about the filming of a Gavin & Stacey episode that involved having a curry at Mick's house. He said that Corden was going ballistic about anyone touching his curry and everyone thought he was ad-libing but it turned out that he really would have killed anyone going near his food.

I think there are only two perosnalities who really iritate me and they are James Corden and Russell Brand. I think it's the combination of sanctimony and insincerity.

It shows how ridiculous and easily impressed we are when young. I used to think Paul Weller was a role model, now I see him as a miserable champagne socialist. I can't think of a single pop celebrity I would waste 5 minutes listening to now I am older.

Just because you talented doesn't mean you are not a ****. If anything, I'd say the two are linked.
I think it was Lincoln who said something alonmg the lines of "the true character of a man can only be revealed when he has power"

Do you get wiser with age or just become a miserable old codger like me. I just don't find almost anything funny on the televisual experience. Have you seen that latest thing cleese is involved in - what a disappointment. I gave it two shots.
I have watched the Mash programme or whatever it's called and it has some potential - but mainly the girl (ho ho) - the guy is completely one eyed though, but the tory bloke is quite nasty in a good way but it is nearly all garbage. Please don't laugh but I find dinner ladies amusing, still. But where is a 'spitting image' - I think they took it off as it was too insulting wasn't it???
and where is a 'yes minister'??
sorry to dribble on but I had a chance while the nurse was out of the room!!!

Look at Muhammad Ali I am now ashamed to say he was an idol of mine when in reality he was an ignorant, narcissistic, womanising so and so. I was going to add paedophile as there's plenty of stuff about teenagers and the odd impregnation but although you hear the odd thing about his lust for young girls finding documented evidence will be unlikely. As for the boxing looking back there are question marks over nearly all of his major fights. Liston - Both fights were bent obviously just look at Liston's previous fights Frazier - 2nd fight many thought Frazier had it locked on points,3rd fight Frazier was ahead when his corner dragged him out Foreman - Foreman fought a stupid fight, gassed badly and fell over
Most of his other fights were non-events and his greedy ignorant antics before the Holmes fight were embarrassing, looking back at the documentary he could barely hit any of the bags and abused himself with Thyroid meds to lose weight against the doctors advice.

I voted for Blair as well but I freely admit I had my head up my rse at the time so I've forgiven myself that sin. He should be getting bummed with a weapon of mass penetration on D wing as we speak imo.

Ali was one of the greatest heavyweights ever. A showman, very intelligent and articulate. His speed ( hands and feet) had never been seen before - or since. His fights with Frazier and Foreman were brutal. Fighting heavyweights were just that- not the lame versions you see nowadays. To win and regain his crown three times was nothing short of incredible. He was a man who was known in the four corners of the world, a global superstar, long before the phrase became overused and denegrated.
Truly ' float like a butterfly,sting like a bee'

As a young lad I had the video Champions Forever which I mistakenly took for reality. When I watch it back on Youtube now I realise it's more of a Muhammad Ali appreciation video.

You have a rather humanist approach normally Facts. Do you think paying people to damage each other is acceptable, in an age when whipping a racehorse is outlawed and you can be jailed for name calling? I'm surprised boxing is still allowed tbh.
