I suppose wiggins owes sky a debt of gratitude ,having spent 12 hrs a day all his adult life training,in olympic squads under the best medical care it took the skys dr,s just before there golden target the tour ,that he,d achieved everything he had whilst suffering from asthma, wonder how many other sky cyclists suddenly found out they,d been suffering from asthma
|
|
By:
our Olympic team was also greatly blighted with asthma.

It's a very handy illness if you are an athlete. We need an 'asthma free' version of all sports.

A friend suggested to me that athletes requiring asthma medication should enter the Paralympics instead.
|
|
By:
I would have thought Athletics and Cycling are 2 sports where asthma sufferers could really struggle in.
Apparently not. Next time you see a kid whizzing out of breath, he should be encouraged to climb mountains on a bike, prob the next tour de france winner. The whole system is corrupt. And those using these treatments are cheating, and for me put in the same bracket as Armstrong. |

asthma is not like that most of the time

Remember when Naymar came to Barcelona from Brazil. They immediately announced the poor lad was anaemic and it was necessary to boost his red blood cell count. As if they don't have doctors in Brazil. Amazing the kid was able to kick a ball at all he was so ill.

Denise Lewis beat the dopers as well and she wasn't exactly feminine nor was Sammy Gunnell or Fatima Whitbread.
Linford is obviously blatant as was John Regis. The white lads seemed to escape any accusations (except Doug Walker who's nandralone levels were a drop in the ocean compared to Linford's) despite Jonathan Edwards needing a beach to record his jumps. Backley supposedly competed with the dopers clean and Roger Black was supposed to be also ![]() Christie was outed as a doper when his career was over and Doug Walker was never going to be top level so the money wasn't paid to cover these up that's how it works. When you test positive your federation is informed and they act upon the result,if you're a nobody you'll test positive unless you can come up with the money. If you are an asset you'll be protected and the money is paid that's how it is and has been for decades. The Jamaican's will have paid a National debt to protect Bolt and co. their coach Glen Mills is well known in the industry, all of their positives are people who's careers are finished or they know will never be top of the shop. Does everyone SERIOUSLY believe Bolt is clean? It would be nice to think so but pretty much impossible ![]() |

quite an impressive list, but no proof whatsoever on most of those
not even the russian hackers who will have seen full records have published anything on some of those |
|
By:
There was no proof for Lance Armstrong
|
|
By:
pointless argument if you think because there was no proof there you can freely libel others
|
|
By:
If I'd posted 10 Russian or Eastern European names you'd have said nothing
Just because we're British doesn't make us superhuman it's not possible to compete on protein shakes and energy drinks it's naive to think that. I'm pretty sure those athletes wouldn't want any samples from the 90's looked at again (independently),the top guy from USADA had to stop his testing of US athletes as he only found positives and there's no poof of failed tests for them either. The IAAF investigations only arise when documentaries with evidence emerge they are not fit for purpose and never have been,if they were there would be no doubt as to who's clean and who's not but it doesn't work that way. |
|
By:
no thats not true either
i have posted loads of stuff on football forum about drug cheats in any sport from any country simply saying because one cheated the other must have is frankly silly |
|
By:
There was a good example from the Great Victor Conte who had clients from all major sports.
The FBI were after him as he was too dangerous to leave alone so to get him they busted one of his World Champion sprinters Kelli White. In the race she ran in to get the positive test Conte knew at least 5 of the 8 competitors weren't clean but only Kelli White returned positive. He knew the 5 that were definitely on drugs (might've been all of them) because they were his clients but they only wanted the high profile name to bring Conte down. If all was well in testing and transparency they all would've been given a positive, but things are always more complicated than they seem. |
|
By:
you have no proof of that
its like these whack jobs on youtube spouting nonsense if one is proven a nutter are they all nutters? |
|
By:
If you have the time donny osmond I suggest watching this podcast,it's a bit long so might be best to do it in stages if you are interested but you'll get your eyes opened believe me

By:
no it wont, my eyes are open
open to cheats who get caught, to cheats that dont get caught, and to clean athletes who get wrongly libelled to serve some agenda |
|
By:
You said I had no proof of what I said I'm giving you the guy saying what I wrote and you come back with a childish rant.
I'm not posting this stuff to argue or serve an agenda I'm sharing some information that I've found on the subject of doping in sport if you're not interested in learning the realities then fair enough ![]() |

Fastest times ever recorded over 100m:
Tyson Gay 9.69s Yohan Blake 9.69s Asafa Powell 9.72s Justin Gatlin 9.74s Nesta Carter 9.78s All five have received drug bans during their career. There's a name missing? Well I didn't want to list Bolt, who has run a clean .11 seconds quicker than any of them, with a bunch of known cheaters. |
|
By:
There is no hope for you
You tried to have a pop at me saying I had no proof to some people that would be taken as being called a liar (an insult) but I'm a bit thicker skinned so I give you the proof which you reject You rant back instead of checking the proof and now I'm insulting you despite you clearly being wrong, very poor it's embarrassing when you read it back ![]() |

Yes Mikael D'Haguenet lateral thinking and common sense fails most of the population sadly

you have no proof for your rants
nor on the bannister thread just because you have a youtube video, lol, does not make you right as for fact checking, well, yeah ...exactly |
