There seem to be quite a few flying over today. Usually can hear them but can't see them. Caught a very brief glimpse of one today, it looked about 10 miles high. A small silver dot for a split second. Loud deep roar from it even at that height!

Is that what the silent lights that look like moving stars are?
For about 5/6 years now I've noticed what have been what look like moving stars though have no sound and often look low in the sky.
I'd stopped looking where I live as my sleeping habits changed but last November I went to Kielder twice once was for the Leonid shower and the amount of these flying around was unbelieveable.
There were occasions where 2 were flying as if attached which was freaky but I've not got to the bottom of what these things are.
Whilst this is happening you can see regular aeroplanes all over the sky sometimes 6 or 7 at once,the guy I was with the first time thought I was pulling his leg until he spotted 2 flying together he nearly s h it bricks
