Teachers have shot others in schools in America. Try and put forward a reasoned argument as to why teachers should be armed and why it's their job to try and shoot a nutter.

Imagine the furore a (innocent) kid getting shot by an armed teacher would provoke. A massive propaganda coo for the anti gun lobby. Politicians, media pundits, etc. would milk that for all it's worth, as they already do with the mass shootings.
I'm sure they wouldn't engineer such a situation though, you know, those hell bent on strict gun control. They wouldn't do that.

Who would have possibly thought that having firearms leads to shooting? Call me Mr Controversial but how about making it a tad more difficult to attain a gun than a box of fireworks?
It's radical but you know, perhaps bringing the firearms legislature in line with Western Europe?.....where surprisingly enough we don't witness such regular mass shootings
But maybe you speak a lot of sense. Educators should be trained marksmen too. Perhaps parents could also help by popping a little hand grenade in the childs lunch box too. Better to be safe than sorry and all that.

I think everyone who owns property should be allowed to keep a gun in their place of residence.

I should imagine its only a matter of time before America introduces strict gun control, but why not try it on a state by state basis and gradually try and get on top of this problem
