Strange things happen in ITV land! His blind was a four chair turn, but no one wants to steal in the battles. Hmm! Most people had him tagged as a possible winner and when you check out some of his music you can see that he's genuinely talented. Here's a cover of Songbird.

One Hit Wonder......Blew me away in the blinds but that was his song on his night......Plus he pulled some strange faces which was not so good.

Sounded like a donkey farting through a colander.

Imo they want to find a 'pop star', someone who can go on and have chart success (unlike the previous winners?), so that means someone who wouldn't look out of place in a boy/girl band, not a thirty year old teacher with a young family!

And imo Simon came across as a likeable chap, doing a good job as a special needs teacher, who looked a sure fire public vote winner (and on Youtube his blind audition has over 500,000 more viewings than Lucy's), but they wanted rid of him?
