Had to laugh at some of the responses (in defence) on other threads.
Saying the Germans and the Czechs denied knowing him.
Modern day interrogation methods. Is he one of your spies? No. Okay that clears that up.

@akabula -- the East Germans and Czechs are on our side now since the fall of the Soviet Union, the Iron Curtain and the Berlin Wall, and their archives have been opened.

But I shall be nicking OP's double oh Jeremy Corbyn joke.

Of course they're on our side. The problem is that Corbyn isn't.

If intelligence agencies have compromising material on a character like Corbyn, who takes money from the governments of Russia and Iran to broadcast their propaganda, then they have a duty to keep it to themselves in order to use it against him in the future, should he ever get into power.

Any chap who ever had the urge to give Diane Abbott a jolly good dìcking is untrustworthy in my book.
