If there is a God why did he give men a foreskin ? I wonder if this law if implemented will have more teeth than our feeble enforcement of laws regarding female genital mutilation !

Besides religious practice people do have a circumcision for health reasons.

Also for cultural / traditional reasons and for medical necessity.
There are very high rates of male circumcision in the USA. The male children of the British Royal family are also routinely circumcised. |

I've made a distinction between health and medical necessity.
The former being the belief that it's more hygienic ie lowers the risk of STIs and the latter being a requirement due o pain, discomfort, infection etc |

I knew a guy who was told by the doctors that he had to have a circumcision because it was too tight but it had never been a problem to him. Unfortunately after the operation he said that sex was never as good as before
 So I think it should be banned, it is totally unnatural mutilation. |

Apparently the end of the chap dries up and loses a lot of sensation.
Have it done for medical reasons, i.e. it's too tight. Have it done if you're an adult and it's your own choice. To enforce it unnecessarily upon a child is barbarism. |

I had mine done when I was 6/7 y/o. Apparently my foreskin was too tight so it had to be done. I was embarrassed about it as a kid because most people are Cavaliers, but I like being a Roundhead. I even got an Atari 2600 console for my loss. It was no skin off my nose!
