Given they have such a small population they do not have the capacity to fish all their grounds to their maximum potential. So they calculate how much their fleet can fish and then sell licences to the EUSSR for around $50 million a year. They negotiated this after leaving the EUSSR in 1985. Why did our governments not do the same thing which would have kept 100,000 British Fishermen in jobs and potentially create a source of income whilst inside the EUSSR?

Why were our Fishermen thrown on the scrapheap?

And if little old Greenland can leave and prosper then I am damn sure we can!
