Ski Cross all day long for me. Fabulous competition, like Wacky Races on snow.
Opening ceremony on council telly from 1030am. SK 9 hours ahead of us.
Is it me or is it a completely empty stadium ?
Team GB Ladies should be worth keeping an eye on in the curling. Skip Eve's a tough wee Perthshire lass determined to better her bronze at Sochi.

This time Norway and Germany are expected to fight it out, with the data company Gracenote forecasting Norway to win an Olympic record of 41 medals with the Germans on 39.
Don’t be surprised if Laura Dahlmeier becomes the Winter Olympics’ answer to Michael Phelps. The 24-year-old from Germany is forecast to win six gold medals: the 7.5km sprint, 10km pursuit, 12.5km mass start, 15km individual, 4x6km, 2x6+2x7.5km relay making her the Games most successful athlete. Dahlmeier loves climbing mountains – including two peaks in Nepal over 6,000m.

I'm not happy with the discrimination here. Seems to be geared up so people from cold countries seem to be winning all the events.

Fourcade vs Jo Boe in the biathlon sprint shortly.
They have dominated the season by a country mile over the rest.
Boe is so fast and shoots incredibly well but .....Fourcade has been on the podium in every single race in the season.
No wonder it is 22/1 bar the two.

The BBC's coverage is abysmal.
It's like attending a coffee morning.
It's like attending a coffee morning.
Not watched any coverage on the Beeb ,they are clueless. Eurosport have 5 channels on the go , and you don't even seen the commentators. The Radio Times picture had 3 women and 1 non white bloke on the cover ........not a peep from the diversity /inclusion shouty types.
I don't think these "types" ever do any shouting, six.
The head of BBC sport is a woman who wants women commentators, women pundits, women's sport, loads of 'celebs' and overall has ruined BBC sport, which was already declining before she got hold of it.
Eurosport is very good. The biggest events are always better on there.

Feck knows what the craic is in that speed skating sh1te, but that there relay seems like it may cause controversy.
Hard to tell the difference at times between fhe Beeb's Olympics coverage and Loose Women.

Strong winds caused chaos as odds on fav Germany out with the washing as first 3 team members all on the penalty loop.

You on about the curler? If so, who gives a feck? Taking PEDs for curling. Wish they'd stop showing the garbage.
They only show the sh1te, for half a day, because the Brits are good at it. Introduce crown green bowling in the summer games and they'd show that too.
Half a day at a time, I meant. Slightly exaggerating maybe but it gets on my tits.
Whatever your views on the aesthetics of ski racing or curling - at least there is a clear winner. The ice skating showdown between those two Russians was an utter farce, with all the commentators confidently calling the older girl the winner as she went through her routine only for the judges to take a different view. Any competition that depends on subjective opinion to decide the winner is not "sport". You might as well include children's painting competitions.
