There's a culture of complaining Hank.
It gives some people a feeling of worth and importance. I mentioned this before on another thread, about the woman who complained to the Cartoon Network about cigarettes being seen on a Tom and Jerry cartoon and the impact of such disgusting viewing on her young child. The Cartoon Network upheld her complaint and either cut the offending part of the cartoon(s) or just stopped showing them. It's like changing history! In the 1940's and 50's when they were made, everyone smoked. Surely all the woman needed to do was to explain what the silly cat was doing. It's easier to complain and report things though. I agree with you - utterly ridiculous. |

Indeed study - too hard for the woman you mentioned to have a talk with her kid about the dangers of cigarettes instead I suppose

Tom and Jerry smoking complained about. But it's ok to blow each other up or smack them in the face with a frying pan. The World has gone mad, it's not real that's why it's a Cartoon. No wonder there are so many kids with no common sense, I see them everyday at work.
