Good choice, well that's two of us at least. However, someone will be along in a minute claiming to have LLandudno tattooed on their **** no doubt.

I can't see their appeal at all. They look aggressive, like graffiti. Why would you have permanent markings on your body? By the time people are 50+ they will look even more stupid.
|

Completely hideous and ugly imo!
On a woman...a major turn off, together with multiple piercings and smoking! I seriously don't get what motivates people to have them....is this a multi national thing, or just another negative thing in which the Brits are world leaders? |

It's a type of self harming.

I wouldn't employ anyone with them.

None of the people I meet/see in the club/pub I go to have a tattoo, well not visible.
I suppose some might have them covered. Whilst I dislike them I find piercings much more repugnant. |

When I ask kids about them, and how they will look in their 50s, the general feeling is
that by then, someone will have invented a painless, clean, removal system. If someone did invent that it would be more lucrative than Facebook imo. And what's with them 1" diameter rings used to stretch the earlobes. They might as well have " My IQ is under 50" tattooed on their foreheads. |

Tattoos are a no no for me too. The irony is that people have them to be 'individual'; yet they are the most conformist, sheep following act around today!
Most of them look like a toddlers playgroup has been let loose with a bunch of crayons and the 'artistic merit' of 99% of them is laughable. A young person I can understand why they get them done as it's 'hip.' But the amount of middle aged mums getting them done in some vain attempt at being relevant is quite alarming. Modern life: tattoos, social media, professional You Tubers, TOWIE & Big Brother. And they say Aborigines didn't evolve much above a sharpened stick after 2,000 years! |

|
By:
if the answer is "no" mad mad moon, surely they shouldn't be offered said consultations in the first place?
|
|
By:
I think the term kid is relevant to yer own age.
Some see a kid as 12ish or younger, some call teenagers kids. If the latter then 'allowing' doesn't come in to it. |

I was on jury service recently and a female defendant was very proud of
her 'twatoo', we were shown pictures of it!! |
|
By:
charwell's point is excellent!
It's become non conformist to NOT have a tattoo! |
|

None myself but when I lost one of my dogs whilst out on a walk, it was returned by a young fella with tattoos and a number of facial piercings. Refused my offer of a reward saying, just glad to see it reunited with it's owner. What the hell, live and let live.

When we were kids we used to sport fake tattoos. They were called transfers and lasted until you washed. Can you still get them?
The novelty of having one soon wears off. I know it's wrong, but I do tend to take a certain view of a person if they have a tattoo. |
