At Prime Minister's Questions yesterday, David Lammy asked for more police and for more action against drugs and knives.
Q4. Last Sunday in my constituency, Reece Oduleye-Waters, who was just 17, was stabbed, with life-changing results. The knife crime that is happening across our country is not being driven by minors and young people; it is being driven by gangsters, organised criminals, and dirty money. Cocaine alone is worth £12 billion to the market in this country, with 100 tonnes of it crossing our borders. So I ask the Minister this: why are we cutting our border force, why are we cutting our police, and why has London been offered, in the violence reduction strategy, a community fund of only half a million pounds? No one could buy a house for half a million in London. http://www.parliament.uk/business/news/2018/january/prime-ministers-questions-31-january-2018/ |

kahn can spend 34 million on green issues in his pet constituencies in east london etc
this would cover the 1000 police shortfall |

Dianne Abbott could get tens of thousand with that sort of money.

No doubt David Lammy along with Dianne Abbott is against Sop and Search, dammed if you do, dammed if you don't

Is Tottenham becoming a theme park for gangsterism ? Loved my time down there, walking down the Seven Sisters road and drinking in the Irish pubs on Holloway Road while Corbyn was demonstrating at the Poly there.
