The arguments that capitalism is about creating growth are wrong. Growth certainly is required within Capitalism, but it exists as a bi-product. No body invests without a view of a return, and no enterprise hires the workforce for the good of community, so growth in new jobs and investment opportunity is the continuation of the zero sum of increasing the stripping of resources that are finite.
People will see exactly what Capitalism thinks of the workforce and its true man made short comings on wealth distribution when corporations lay off humans en-masse and never reference them again as AI takes their place.
Its just a ponzi scheme where money collects in ever diminishing circles following disruption of markets and shareholder value maximisation. This occurred by playing to the selfish nature of 'me' first, and competition that creates 'choice' has a workable equilibrium which has long past and now we are in the 'choice paradox'.
Competition is like two lions co-existing on an ever reducing number of antelope...the lion then turns on the other lion. Capitalism is about the ruination of others first and foremost.
