Compared to the recent explosion of attention seeking trans gender newbies the numbers should be way higher.Feel sorry for real GENETIC trans people they must be sick of all the bandwagon jumpers,not to mention the likes of Bruce Jenner everyone forgets he took so much synthetic testosterone his body stopped producing it altogether! your problem is the few true transgender DO have issues and need respectiong - what worries me is the rest who will try to hang their coats on the issue and all the politicos who are not trans but want to speak for them

Trans gender is a huge issue in Womens Athletics and very touchy as to what constitutes male or female.
I don't know if you're into Athletics but there is a famous 800/1500m runner from South Africa Caster Semenya who races as a female but has undescended testes and a very high testosterone level.
Semenya broke onto the world scene as a teenager and deliberatley now doesn't go after records (often eases up late on or sits too far back).Semenya is married to a woman so has hetro male sexual preferences.I've posted a link below to an interview after Rio 2016

The men's 800m record is about 12 seconds quicker than the females, and that's by an Eastern European from the 80s so , in reality is nearer 15 seconds.
Even if she had 10pc higher testosterone levels, this could give her a 10-12 meter advantage over the rest of the field.
I would be very annoyed if I was a woman in the same race, but it seems they are not allowed to question this.

They would be accused of hate crime if they complained, and probably be removed from the sport. Best to buckle under and try to be second.
