I'm no expert and don't live in London but have seen many gang related documentaries and the problems relating to mainly inter gang knife and gun crime is uncontrollable and youths are dieing daily (what deaths we hear in our news are cherry picked).Far too many reasons to come up with short term solutions but from what I gather it's way past the point of no return and the government agencies in this country seem to have taken a stance like South Central L.A in the 90's. Whether it's true or not the most common line regarding the government is that they are the ones supplying the weapons and drugs for the street gangs at knock down prices.
