Yea right because it was so famously brilliant before, and who would have known they would be busy at Christmas!

Pre privatisation I called the local post office depot for ages about a parcel that couldn't be delivered and eventually gave up and physically went there. The entire time I was waiting there were phones going off in the background, the staff made no attempt to answer them, just ignored them, and this wasn't christmas time.

Unanswered phones drive me mad so I guessed they were used to it!

Pretty sure the "dispatches" type documentaries about Royal mail staff abusing packages and robbing from mail (espeically around London) all predated privitisation as well!

Was it a summons for an unpaid debt?

In the years before Privatisation my local postman actually used to deliver my parcels next door to my naughty neighbour, regardless of whether I was in or not.

The fact that she often used to open the door in the morning dressed in a shorty dressing gown which left her sexy legs uncovered was, of course, a complete coincidence.

Did he ring twice?

I reckon he would have rung all day just to see the naughty one answer the door in that Pretendy Dressing Gown.

I caught him red-handed once. He walked straight past my house holding an envelope containing tickets I had to sign for, his SatNav unfailingly directing him to those sexy legs.

Why do you tell lies Pandora?

The site has not been down & I've had no problem with it at all this week.  Not only that, all my tracked deliveries have been confirmed as delivered.
