Gone. The third Cabinet Minister to go inside two months.
David Davis said he would resign if Green was ousted. Will he ? Of course not.
This Tory government is a farce. A total shambles with zero credibility.
Brexit ? A joke,
The next vote of no confidence isn't far away. May and her party have proved time and time again that they are simply not fit for purpose.

Not an original thought in his tiny little brain.

Not strictly true.  Remember, he is after all the ONLY person on here to pretend he would give a home to some Syrian 'Refugees'.  (You see it was 'the only moral and humanitarian thing to do', and anyone who failed to do so was 'narrow').

Alas IAN unsurprisingly went all shy when asked for detailed information on this fantasy initiative. Still, I'm sure he will now want to give all details and be completely transparent, given his obvious distaste for those in politics who seemingly do not.

when the tory agenda is about calling a divisive referendum on inter party whims, or calling an election based on opportunism and then having the neck to magic up a money tree to save their own arse during a prolonged period of austerity.

Its a bit rich that the very people who hijacked the ancient term of 'polis' as in Aristotle's meaning of the 'political animal' being one of cosmopolitanism, changing the meaning of the word to imbibe meaning of corruption and deceit for the sacrifice of the many for the advantage of the few.

Knowing the inhibitions and false morality that people harbour regarding porn, Green tried to distance himself from the prospect of being associated with images found on a computer in his office.
It backfired on him.
What is more relevant is that he was put in that position by a member or ex member of the police force who is not supposed to disclose stuff like that to the press.
It was simply an act of malice towards a government official.
This needs investigating and the people concerned should be prosecuted.
Report Dr Crippen • December 21, 2017 10:36 PM GMT

the police are now so political

They certainly are, yet not on the political side that the public views them.

Police are often called fascists, yet if we dig deeper we can see they act exactly like the rest of the public sector.
They simply serve best those whom they think will pay them best.
And that is the Labour party, who tax the private sector until the pips squeak in order to keep an ever-growing army of pen pushers and career people who pass for the Police.

So then we get the situation of the general public whose complaints are largely ignored, but they can spare 7 police officers and three police vehicles to arrest a 13 year old boy who was associated with a nude picture of his girlfriend. As reported in the news this week.
And retired officers leaking information to the press to settle personal grievances, which is what this thread is about. Cheered on by the far left-wing of course.

Aren't our Police wonderful?

Report dustybin • December 22, 2017 11:04 AM GMT
Its simply another blow to the protected species. Politics has not turned out the way those that fought to wrestle control from the tyranny of monarchy had dreamed and the people of today are pissed off.

These things may seem small but they are the only allowed actions for people without the ability, to hold politics to account.

Every single day populations are effected by the decisions made on their behalf by these 'wise' collectives, who make the rules and control through perceived traditions to keep people in their place.

Revolution isnt allowed, so the politicians and their processes get shaped in the only way they can instead.
Report Dr Crippen • December 22, 2017 11:13 AM GMT
An ex-policeman following through a personal vendetta, which dislodges a minister from office is hardly what you are describing dustybin.

Is that holding politics to account, and the kind of situation you want to promote in you politics of envy?
Report dustybin • December 22, 2017 11:53 AM GMT
It isnt envy, its a question to the people; 'what is the political animal of today?'
My opinion is that is a conniver, a creature that doesnt even speak like humans do and one who appeals to their vested interests rather than their role.

You only need look at every ballot to see the truth.
When has there evre been an option to abandon the whole thing and have an exit route?
Ofc people will say that would be chaos, and indeed it would unless a proper vehicle of reform was already in place.
But the point is it is the greatest form of regulation to keep politics as a whole in check, a rail for the horse to run against.
But it doesnt exist, instead people arnt given the true options to cut out cancers they just press them a bit here and there, so the degenerate selfish nature of implying righteousness on the masses continue and the populations get treated with contempt.

All parties gerrymander and attempt at all costs to hold power even when its clearly not in the interest of the people, the cliques get richer at the cost of the masses, opportunism is declared as virtue and everyone has to attempt to con others in the guise of competition.

If the only route for those outside parliament is to use the press as a weapon, then so be it.
