I've often some sympathy for the cops but absolutely not in the case. Shouting confusing aggressive commands at a drunk frightened man?

All he needed to do was say "lie face on floor hands outstretched and don't move", go over and cuff/pat him, fuss over?

If he did what he was trained to do their training is just useless, if he didn't then it's at least manslaughter, surely?

What happened was the guy was a pest control man who had a pellet gun (i.e. airgun) and he was staying in a hotel standing near a window showing it to someone and someone saw it and called. He wasn't shooting it or pointing at it anyone or anything, and he'd had a few drinks.

Then rambo turns up to pretend he's playing Call of Duty Cop Protocol and kills him.

Victim had kids, now orphans.

Saw it the other day and it seems that the cop just wanted an excuse to kill someone.

A total scandal he was found not guilty.

Could you imagine the uproar if the victim was black, riots I tell you

I E.Mailed the link to a pal of mine. He said that if that had been his brother that had been 'shot' at least he would have known the cop's name.

As for retribution I cannot put what he said on here as it would not be for the squeamish..

** I forgot to add that at first he thought I was pulling his leg and it was stage managed.

We've had another beauty by the trigger happy yanks (their old bill division).

Apparently some people think it's a good idea to call them out to an address saying there is something really bad happening, to try and get them go in heav. So they turn up at someone's address (not even the correct address of the person they were trying to annoy), father of two innocently walks up to the door, totally doesn't know what's going on and why, nothing to do with the guy who made the call, and bang - they shoot him dead.

Shocked and crying here.

The man barking instructions was making the guy confused , it was as if he wanted him to make a mistake.  He was horrible, a little hitler.  AS Just Checking said why didn't they make him lie on the floor and go over and pat him down or something similar.

Was the man barking instructions the man that killed him?

I assumed he was. I wonder if he has a wife and kids? What a hero husband/dad....Utter ****.

No.  The bloke shouting instructions was the Sergeant, not the officer who shot him.
