Following on from discussion on alternative Christmas dinners, I can confirm that last night I secured a 3.5kg piece of cow for £8 a kilo.  This was supposedly half price - and I think Morrisons were selling similar for £15.

This was vacuum packed and has a eat by date of 23rd December.  The man was quite prepared to cut it in half.

I reckon I was the happiest bloke in Asda yesterday.
