The destroyers are doing very well at smashing up brexit

The way the destroyers are handling the result of a democratic vote actually almost makes me want a second referendum as I think the victory margin wold be even bigger.
To punish NI (who voted leave as well!!)is beyond a joke. As for Eire, if they dont want a border with Northern Ireland , they can leave the EU themselves.. |

correct - meant remain.

May simply looking to implement the will of the people of Northern Ireland, isn't it? Khan and Sturgeon also looking to respect and implement the will of their people.

In that way Brexit could bring far bigger advantages than initially thought. It could accelerate a restructuring of the entire United Kingdom. Maybe with the end result of London becoming its own city state, Ireland is reunited and Scotland, Wales and England each becoming sovereign, individual nations. No more Scots and London making the Tory victories smaller than they should be, or the Scottish people often being ruled by Tories against their will and voting pattern.

London would want to be part of the EU meaning the M25 would become new border. Checkpoints to be installed under all intersections.

David Davis, October 2017:
“The government has done Brexit impact assessments in excruciating detail for 58 sectors." Today when asked if the government had undertaken any impact assessments on the impact of leaving the EU for different sectors of the economy he simply answered "NO" and then said he was not aware of assessments in any sectors. Which one was he lying about then because he obviously is in one of the cases? |

it is very very difficult to appreciate just quite how negligent Davis and May have been.

adam boulton on sky has gone into alister Campbell mode getting really agitated that this deal isn't signed off,he along with peston, pundits on newsnight seem to want the dup, brexiteers just to sign up to anything walk away later ,just to get trade talks started, most people would say you might as well try to sort it now rather than waste a year on trade talks then walk away bringing any deal down, unless boulton and co are trading the £ hoping to second guess talks and make a few quid, boulton,s seems to be close to his 2nd meltdown on live tv

It was Cameron and Osborne with Jeremy Heywood who have been negligent by failing to prepare for the possibility of a Leave vote, the mess is having to be cleaned up by May and Davis under the glare of the media and sundry backstabbers such as Blair,Clegg and Starmer who have more allegiance to Brussels than UK.

afraid not treetop.
invoking article 50 before conducting the necessary background work to be adequately prepared to enter negotiations will go down as one of the most flagrant acts of foolishness and negligence in british history. |

Why do we need to negotiate with a cartel we're leaving?
First rule of meetings/negotiations is location. May should stay put and let the rejected come to her. |

Spreadsheet Phil said we will still have to honour our debts (upto 50 billion) even if we leave with no deal...
![]() Time to put this government to rest. |

I can just see the rest of the world lining up in queues longer than found in the first week of Wimbledon to sign deals with a country that doesn't honour its commitments.

so no deal plus 50 billion is better than a bad deal,
