Doesnt just apply to men.

For instance if your wife monitors your phone calls or emails the same would apply.

5 years for being-rightly or wrongly- paranoid about yer partner? This will fill the prisons in a month.
Report InsiderTrader December 3, 2017 9:54 AM GMT
The articles says 5 million women and 2.5 million men suffer from this.

It is true it will fill the prisons.

Considering how few people press charges against their partners for physical abuse and how many people go back to abusive relationships I am not sure how this new law will work in practice.

If someone looks at their partner's mobile they get 5 years in prison.

If a policeman looks at an MPs computer and tells the press what he claims was (legally) on there he gets nothing?

Weird set of rules coming in.

Obviously never happened.

In reality this will (probably) only apply in very extreme cases. It's a PC mad world we live in but I actually this is a good move.  Some people are terrified of their partners.  They could do with a little help imho.

some people can't be / won't be helped. It's hopeless it really is.
