Following our call to Oxford Circus, we have been unable find any evidence of gunfire. We remain on scene alongside @metpoliceuk and advise you to avoid Oxford Circus and Regents Street areas

I see lovable tommy has broken his own record for deleting his own rumour-mongering tweets. I'd call him an utterly despicable sh!tweasel but it'd be an insult to all other sh!tweasels if I'm honest.

No casualties.

Listen piers! I was shopping and then all of sudden the whole place went mad, I mean crazy people running & screaming towards exits. We found a small office to hide to which loads of staff and people were saying there was shots fired. If you was there you’d have understood mate.

Not up to speed on this story, but from bits I have read, seems Olly Murs started to panic. First he said he heard gunshots then later in his response to Piers Morgan he said he was told there was gunshots. Olly would not be a very reliable news source as a War Reporter !

So Olly Murs went into panic mode and started tweeting hysterically. So no shooting, and apparently a "full-out fight" on the London Underground sparked Oxford Street panic, and mass evacuation of three central tube stations. Don't know that for fact but just read it (and not in the Daily Mail or Olly Murs twiiter page !)

British Transport Police say this afternoons mass evacuation at Oxford Street tube station was caused by an 'altercation' between two men on one of the platforms.  Witnesses say a brawl broke out after one of the men bumped into the other

Long story (well, three minute) short - the whole thing was started by two people fist fighting with a gang of these 20 Europeans.

Odds of a false flag / test operation?

The Metropolitan Police said it began receiving "numerous" 999 calls reporting gunshots in Oxford Street and at Oxford Circus station at 16:38 GMT on Friday.

The first armed response vehicle was on the scene in less than a minute from receiving the first call, the force said.
