My friend spent the day with me today, couple of pints in The Alleynes Head , walking Muttley in the park and just generally chatting about stuff.
She said, "I have to tell you this, you remind me of Captain Mainwaring from Dad's Army"
I had to laugh as it not too far from the truth !

Thing is, I really am a bit like Captain Mainwaring, she had me in fits of laughter in the pub
Was talking to Someone on the Phone ,said I sounded like Tom Hardy .. 
The girls in our London office said I sound like Anthony Hopkins... used to make me quote from Silence Of The Lambs

Walking towards Arundel town centre this morning, dressed in a suit shirt and tie,several cars beeped me,was it the suit I asked myself or did they think they knew me!
I absolutely love Arundel workrider, it's one of my favourite places. I hope one day I'll move there in my dotage for good.
I was at a funeral of a very dear friend Slippy, he was buried in St Leonard's Church South Stoke, a beautiful little church on the Duke's land, King Charles is said to have galloped along the river Arun which is about 50 yards from the Church having been defeated, and on his way into exile in France.
