I have entered the postcode of every residence at which I have lived since the advent of the lottery PLUS those of my 10 closest friends in the UK. NOT ONE has won. How statistically significant this is is not clear, however it suggests to me that it is a lottery who wins!!

No but a friend of a friend won the Sun Bingo 
Oh, and I got to the third stage of the Readers Digest Prize Draw
A cousin of the missus had a big Lottery win. She was part of a syndicate but her share was over £500k
Lots of small wins if I type in the first 4 letters/numbers. Mid you that covers a large part of the town!
7 x £10 wins. There are only two houses in my road though.
