We want to share an important update with our Betfair Community users.

Over the coming months, the Betfair Community platform will be winding down. The final active day for the platform will be December 21st. From December 22nd, users will no longer be able to access the platform.

Your discussions, insights, engagement, and, most importantly, feedback have helped shape the platform and guided innovation. Your feedback continues to be important to us, and we will continue to listen via our dedicated feedback channels, as well as through product testing and innovations.

I actually think it's better than it used to be anxious.

The strictly enforced rules, have taken out the pretty powerful tool of abuse many could use when they wanted to shut someone up.

There used to be some pretty awful people on here every day peddling their lies about other posters as well.

There still are some, but far fewer.

crippen the only reason it is so bland is because nearly everybody who has the temerity to dare to have an opinion has been banned or have left of their own accord

@mokegibboni

I tried Betfair on chrome today and had exactly that issue.
Did a bit of googling and possibly its got something to do with chrome and local #hashtag anchors in html not dancing together properlyCrazy

Another error that really slows down the forum but especially on chrome ( because a lack of timeout settings ) is the non-existence of https://cache.betfair.com/favicon.ico

Which the forum tries and fails to load every time you click a forum button
This causes a 40 second wait until it times out and then it can complete the rest of the multitude of bits and bobs

Yes anxious, but the only ones prepared to use abuse now, are the Betfair employees or their mates who post on here.

Like when I drew 'we know who' into persistently insulting me a few months back.

He unwittingly showed his hand, so now few want anything to do with him.

A prize sucker indeed.

Escapee - I'm using Chrome, but I've noticed since I launched this thread that I CAN log in if I wait about 30 seconds or so until the log in section top right appears.

I suppose I'll just have to put up with the wait!

I've never used New Community.  Don't really want pictures clogging everything up.  Why else do people use it ?

I can't mention his name anxious.
He's so well connected that he'd have me off the forum in a flash.
