I saw it last night for the first time, I thought it was rather brilliant and Cillian Murphy is a damn fine actor. I'll get the box set and watch it from the beginning.

Worth the effort slippy, the earlier series were just as good.Only spoiled by the terrible low voices and brummie accents, had to use sub titles to follow the plots.

Yes alun.. quite surprising Michael getting it too as he was the perfect neutral character of the Family

treetop the closest to a brummie accent would be Polly (i'm sure you can her her Clearly enough) & John would be the modern day brummie bad boy .
Tommy sounds like he comes from fking Nottingham to me!
and most of the scumbags are more an old Irish Gypsy element.

Hope that Helps with your Subtitles! lol

Jesus I'm really surprised at the tripe that people will watch.

Tedious, slow, cut and paste characters, style over content the same scenes over and over again.  It is possible to make a good programme about this subject but this ain't it.

Like watching a violent Hovis ad.

Gave up watching it after 2 episodes after getting annoyed at the terrible Brummy accents. In those days most people hardly ever left the area they were born in yet all the members of the family had completely different accents.

it's a drama not a documentary, get over it. if you were from Scotland or Ireland you would just learn to
live with awful accents on a regular basis Silly
