WOW- I just noticed that my reply to the above question , which was posted a very short time after the question was put, has been removed. I just cannot believe this as I never mentioned what it was other than the title. This really is absolutely amazing!

TBF, Trilby's picture of Thomas the Tank as a woman in a burka was deeply offensive and unrepresentative of a Muslim lady.

I'm sure I glimpsed a wheel before quickly averting my eyes..

Perhaps Trilby could kindly post a picture of Thomas as a priest and see if the picture is also removed .

Greggs would never replace the image of Muhammad (the CORRECT spelling), Peace be upon him, with a sausage roll and get away so lightly!

There seems to be a lot more post removals since anxious returned. Probably just a coincidence.

I have been warning about this matter for over 10 years. The battle is already lost due to vested interests. I won't be here when the excrement hits the air circulator. I have no children so it doesn't really bother me. What amazes me is that I am a voice in the wilderness even amongst my friends, a small proportion of whom are of a faith which should be most afraid. I can't believe how they dismiss my views. But while it won't be their problem it will be their children's or their grandchildren's problem.

I concur most wholeheartedly Mr Slicer - we are in quite similar situations.

I might just make the effort and wander along to the service in my local church tomorrow morning & see how things are there these days.
