why have they gone out of public houses . total madnees. i remember many happy hours sitting in the pub, chatting having a laugh and pouring money into the juke box to listen to the tunes of the day

pubs today are like soulless and missing so much

Within a 2 mile radius of my place there about 10 pubs and only 2 have got jukeboxes. The rest are all gastropubs, £20 for burger, chips and a pint is very much the norm.

It may be the increase in rental, fees to PPL and PRS ( who also collect fees for TV's and any musical content used in quiz's).
