Running after people shouting questions

I always thought it was impolite to ignore someome asking you a question, I suspect there is always a small chance they could have a hearing impairment hence the " chase " to repeat the question.

A man running after a woman asking questions is sexual harassment.  A white man running after a Muslim woman asking questions is racism and sexual harassment.  A woman running after a man asking questions is after child support.

That was funny when the Rogue Traders crew turned up at a dog breeding kennels and the staff turned the house pipes on them. 

I also remember the animal rights brigade walking into a chicken processing plant in Tipton, taking photos and making a nuisance of themselves.

Now remember these people are usually educated types who trade in words, and slaughterhouse staff tend to be limited in that respect.

So the staff simply grabbed them by the scruffs of their necks and kicked their backsides as they bundled them out the door.
They hadn't bargained for that.

BBC reporters hanging around 10 Downing Street shouting silly questions they know will not be addressed in the street is cheap and disrespectful to me.

Yes it is treetop, it's a cheap pop at a politician from a position of safety.

Reporters and interviewers are generally more interested in the questions they put rather than getting any answers.
That's clear from the way they cut the interviewee short half way through their replies to put the next offensive question.
I often find myself on the side of the politician regardless of their politics, due to the sheer rudeness of the interviewer.

They ask a lot of questions at PMQ's but the only ones answered are the ones from their own benches that the Whip has instructed them to ask. The 'doorstepping' ones you talk about are not intended to provoke an answer, merely to induce a reaction.

I've just called the press and given them a tip-off about Mo Farah allegedly cheating.

"ARE YOU GOING TO RESIGN MINISTER?" - should be met with, "Oh fck off you pompous tw@t"

Also, why do reporters insist on doing their report while a speech, for example, is still in progress.  Similar to sports reporters doing their report as the players are actually walking onto the pitch.

Most journalism these days seems to be more about the journalist than the subject they are supposedly reporting on.  Laura K from BBC is a classic example.  Hugely inflated opinion of her own importance.

Totally agree Danno with everything you say. C4 news is wall to wall ego, BBC virtually as bad, with LK she's far more interested in her opinion than telling us facts.

And talking of egos, when the BBC thinks it's being clever it gets very arrogant. An MP who has been the target of last weeks witch hunt has just killed himself, I'd have thought that would be the main news story, but that is reserved for another mud slinging attempt at royalty, this time Prince Charles, from the same smug lefty a55 I'm talking about at the start of this thread. No fan of the royal family is he! It's also self promotion, another thing the BBC love.

Another group of 'media' types who have no place in any decent country are those cretins who chase after prison vans taking high-profile prisoners to/from court.

They can often be seen holding their cameras up high to take photos of specially blacked-out windows.

Bring back Dennis Pennis - that's what I say! But seriously though, the comments below are some of the reasons why I don't watch the TV news any more. ITV news are probably the best of the worst in that respect.
