Beautiful creatures that often unfairly get a bad press.

Dont bother optician @ mine has glasses and  cr@p eyesight says she wont be able to see me till next Tuesday. i mean how long do them lenses take to focus!!

I know what it's like dealing with opticians.
I told mine I couldn't see very far.
He took me to the window and said what's that in the sky?
I said the sun.
He said well that's millions of miles away, so how far do you want to see?

I can recall when I first heard it.
The year was 1990 and I remember there were three of us having a chat.
There's no doubt it's stood the test of time judging by the response here, with people like SS and delta in severe pain from laughing.

I'm glad it cheered them up, they looked like they could do with a good laugh.
