Madagascar is in the grip of a major plague outbreak, odd that the BBC havnt rushed out a reporter with a film crew!?

there was a good programme on tv , recently, about some plague
victims being dug up by crossrail diggers in london.
they checked the plague they isolated from the skeletons with
the plague in madagascar and were surprised to find it was
more or less exactly the same strain in both cases.
