I saw this programme and enjoyed it.

Lads, I have to ask this. Given the staggering quality of the pictures from even the sea bed, do they ever 'clean up' the images using technical wizardry, or even use computer-generated imagery to make things even more spectacular. I was astounded by the clarity of the detail.

Not wishing to dis the great man but his only input is as a narrator. At 91 he can't be expected to be out there with the film makers as he was in earlier projects, but they really should get more of the limelight than they do. Just Saying.

Absolutely superlative, a true Great British icon is Sir David Attenborough.

I thought this episode was disjointed,with scenes not flowing as per normal.

Think its the camera work that makes these programmes - as alun states above the pictures were stunning, must be even better for those of you watching in 4k
