bizzare that they never seem to try and get to the crux of what actually triggered their mental decline and the subsequent onset of anorexia

A few of them mentioned to louis what may had triggered it, the muslim girl mentioned an arranged marriage, the dental nurse mentioned being dumped and the 63 old jewish rebelled when she was supposed to get married.
But the health workers seem to have a sheet to work from rather than find the pinpot of their decline. |

just telling someone to eat doesn't work they are trapped in a cycle of irrational behaviour and are not challenged to address the root cause of their illness |

That's right Sonko. Life ( meaning mainly other people ) is difficult so this is an escape from bullying and having their own control. But they really need tough love. I would tell them I don't care what they look like and with all the suffering that goes on in this world neither should you be too bothered.
