Been a fan since my first USA trip in '81, during which I became acquainted with the sport, and culminated in watching games 1 and 2 of the World Series in various NYC spots and hotel rooms. Left for the UK with the Yankees 2-0. By the time I next saw a newspaper over here they were 3-2 behind and about to lose 4-2. The days before 24 Hour Sports news.
An enthralling start to this year's Series wouldn't you say? Game 2 was an absolute monster of a match, with Houston demonstrating great tenacity to 'win' it several times before they finally scraped over the line.
