I tried using Tunnel Bear when I was on holiday. It didn't work (I couldn't place a bet anyway) but I could've quite easily done it wrong.

Betternet is free, easy to use, never had any problems with it and doesn't affect speed very much at all.

be suspicious of free vpns.  Check for dns leak (this is where your true location can be unmasked) and find out what happens if the vpn server goes down - it might result in your actual connection becoming live showing your location.

Last year in Portugal I had Hide my Ass but BF and 365 sussed it out and blocked me but could get most other sites, since then I've been using Nord VPN which has been excellent, been back to Portugal twice with this and had absolutely no problems accessing BF etc.

I used an AVG VPN for a day or two last month. It hides the location of ip addresses. Soon found out that I couldn't bet online with a VPN as bookmakers need to know where in the world you are. In many countries online gambling is illegal

Bookies won't care about that. They want to see your IP to see if you are a winner.

Download Opera browser - it works/looks just like chrome.

In the address bar, click VPN, choose from 5 different locations.

I've used Express VPN for years now and it works well. I do have trouble accessing my B247 account when abroad, but with perseverance, I managed to gain access eventually.

Yeah, I've read about the free VPN with Opera browser.

Don't know how good it is, but if seems perfect for the occasional user.

Im in Portugal, and cant seem to place a bet. Online gambling is not illegal here, tried with ExpressVPN can log in but experiencing account issues, like cant see any inplay games, nor place any bet because it doesnt seem to find and avalaible games...
annoyed...
Any light on this issue is welcome.

I've been using Browsec for about 3 years and I wouldn't change I started by using their free service, which was good, but you couldn't choose the server. I've since upgraded to their premium service (around £30 per annum} which enables me to choose the server country and watch free channels from all over the world.
