Why is it that workmen always break something?

Had decorators hereon Wednesday.

Came into my home office and the TV wouldn't turn on...just wouldn't respond to the remote.

After changing the batteries, still no joy but then I discovered it was unplugged!

The guy was using the vacuum, but absolutely no reason to come in here, as there are six points in the entrance and only two are in use!

Reading the instructions there is an invisible button on the back of the TV (a flimsy thing) where, with pushing and jiggling it up and down, I can eventually get it to come on.

Unfortunately it only comes onto the same channel every time and requires mor pushing and jiggling to find another channel!

The remote doesn't function at all!

Any ideas please?

Change the batteries back to the original as you know they were working,

Plug in TV

Switch on as usual with remote.

Tell us how you get on !

Interesting advice here....

Thing is it's a bit of a strange coincidence, that the remote doesn't function, after the TV was unplugged!

It isn't the batteries for sure so I think it's ******!!!

Decorator may have damaged your remote and used socket.
