No. Their evidence is just not subject to the same rules of entrapment as police evidence is.

Saw one of the trappers interviewed on tv, not the nicest of people but can't complain about the service they are doing.
Plenty of clips of it online. In America a tv station does the same thing. Evidence pretty compelling. Normal plea from the perverts ranges from "I've never done anything like this before" to "I was doing it to warn them about the dangers of chatting online." |

The paedos are entrapping the kids by pretending to be kids themselves on-line, the paedo hunters are trapping the paedos by pretending to be kids on-line too.
Entrapment seems to be the only way to tackle this and the police don't have the time and resources to really deal with it. They only react to reported crime after the child has probably been molested, too late. Just look at the Rotherham rape gangs investigations and others. So these hunters seem to be doing a good job. |

Doing the ground work for the police so no bad thing.
Can't remember his name but one was known to a relative of mine. They worked for the same company. Pleading with the trappers that it would ruin his life. His pleas fell on deaf ears obviously. Okay for him to ruin some youngsters life though. Naming and shaming I think even better than jail time for them. |

Very much against these hunters who always seem to have a 'dodgy' past themselves. Think of the innocent son/daughter niece/nephew who will get relentlessly bullied because their dad/uncle is a "Paedo".

That's a good point Hamsterdam but overshadowed I think by the need to expose these paedos.
