as Dirty Den used to say, 'I don't believe I'm hearing this'. Each and everyone one of the current radio show hosts is an insufferable bore. David Symonds, Kenny Everett, Mike Dicken, Adrian Durham, Stan Collymore were/are real radio men. The best programme on the radio atm is probably Radio 3's jazz at Saturday teatimes. Anyone else here go on the march in London against the Government's Marine Offences Bill?

Did you just mention Adrian Durham Life-Lucky??? IMHO only sounds good because of his partner in crime Darren Gough making him. Do still listen to former Talkradio/Talksport host Ian Collins on LBC occasionally.

Echobelly, yes, actually now you mention it, when Darren Gough isn't on duty the Show is a bit flat and I usually switch off

I know the op asked for the best and that would be without question Nigel on LBC Sunday mornings @ 10 am and evenings 7-9 during the week.
The worst(and i beg you to listen to this $hitemaster) is Steve Allen again on LBC 4-7am.The fella is a total prick but unbelievably he thinks he's gods gift to the radio waves.

Forgotten 80s on Absolute 80s with Matthew Rudd. He plays top 40 hits that don't get played much these days. Many of the songs are requests and it's quite easy to get a request played. My name has been read out probably about 20 times over the last few years.

Johnny Vaughan on Radio X, 4-7 weekdays and on Saturday mornings, best broadcaster out there and has been for some time, do yourself a favour and download the podcasts. For sport, Danny Kelly's Trans Europe Express on TS is pretty good as well when Mark Langdon is on.
