Ramruma - evening by the way - he called Savile out in 78 in a radio "podcast" call it what you will in them days - he knew allright but it was suppressed by Blighty fact!

Even I knew in the early 80s there were rumours in Fleet Street about Savile but the red tops couldn't stand anything up.

I knew there were rumours; Johnny Rotten/Lydon knew there were rumours. Is there any evidence he had a single, solitary fact? Because on that interview on Youtube, he just says he'd heard rumours.

He could have been listening to Fleetwood Mac, just saying

Yorkshire Police knew, NHS staff knew, Theroux knew, Newsnight knew (about Jimmy not Rolf).

Video shows a lot of commentators and even the uploader have 20/20 hindsight. Even the title is misleading, as they say they first met a few weeks before it was filmed.
