Walking the dog this morning i was approached by a forty summat bloke jogging towards me with all the running gear on..Green flashy expensive looking trainers, yellow running vest with a number 6 on it and a far too revealing pair of running shorts..here's the irony bit

Hanging from the corner of his gob was a lit cigarette.Only thing missing was a can of Stella tucked into his pants.I dunno..Tut Tut

A few years ago one of the bosses at a company I worked for (he'd been in the T.A. and thought it was the SAS to hear him talk) bought a three grand mountain bike. He was out on it for the first time and hit a boulder, fell off and broke his leg in three places and had to be lifted by Air Ambulance to hospital. His wife came into work the following day with the undamaged bike on a rack behind their Range Rover and asked if anyone would buy it before he killed himself. One of the lads gave her a pony for it(he hadn't told her how much he'd spent, although he told everyone else) and she went away happy and he made a few quid sticking it on ebay. Ironic thing was he couldn't make a fuss, a) because he'd made a complete pratt of himself and b) she'd shown us a pic of him in hossie with his leg in a splint and a green and yellow lycra bodysuit with one leg cut off.
His nickname from then on was Major Hopalong Laugh
