How come that they show large developments of properties, around one, or even several communal pools, with never another soul in sight?

Also, usually, no space for cars, and I never have seen even one rubbish bin!!!!

Just to add that, I know holiday makers won't be taking cars, but many of the  searchers are looking to live there!

One of my relations friends used to be a presenter on one of these programmes. She told us that because of cost-cutting, they would send a small research team out to wherever to do all the hard work, then fly her out for the minimum possible time. Many times when she was seen entering a property with the punters, she had never seen the property before and had to make it up as she went along. The shots of developments were taken by the research team usually very early in the morning, and any interlopers politely got rid of. You are quite right, what they should have shown was one hundred people all fighting for a place round the pool.

It would be hell on earth!

Tolerable perhaps, for a two week holiday home, but otherwise forget it!

the bit I don't get is the couples have already chosen the place they want to live in and yet they always introduce the resort by saying the good news is prices have risen 40% since the crash as though its a positive,if there going to live there wouldn't it be a bigger positive to say prices have yet to rise since the property crash,confused.com

and the other annoying one is look at that sea view,if you go on a 2 week holiday you probably look at the sea from the balcony once in 14 days,if your going to live there after the 1st week you,d probably never look at the view again

Seems to me most of the punters just go for the trip and TV appearance without any real intention of moving there. Mostly at the end they say its not quite what we want and we will keep on looking.
