I'm guessing late 70's from style of theme tune it goes;

Da da da daa da da da
Da da da Daa da da da
Da da daa da da daa da da daaaa.
Da da di da.

and in the background it goes ;

bi bi bi bii bi bi bi bii bi bi bi bii bi bi bi bii.

Thought it was the proffessionals but its not
Thought it was knight rider but its not.
My missus thought it was the sweeny but its definately not. So what is it / could it be?

No problem joel, it's an easy mistake to make with no sound to go by.
Report Joel September 7, 2017 6:02 PM BST
Why dont you record yourself singing it and post if somewhere so we can get a better idea

Oooh I don't know about that joel, i'm a bit shy.

I'm just looking through a list of TV themes now but no luck yet.

Got to find it now although its not exactly important is it?
Report Joel September 7, 2017 6:16 PM BST
It's very important because you will not be free until you work out what it is.

Good try alpha but no.

I think the main instrument is a sax or similar. and the bi bi bi part is a synth.

I'd say it's the Equalizer, except that goes:

"Da da de da"

Instead of:

"Da da di da"

Sorry I can't help.

I thought 'Return of The Saint' was a good shout by Ramruma. It does seem to fit the da da da daa's...
