Watching a few of these Police programs seeing the total lack of respect the yut of today have for anyone, if caught for example burglary where they steal the car keys and just go joy riding. They should be given a caution, the second time executed.

in the past we had the death penalty for theft of goods worth as little as 10p
this was replaced/supplemented by transportation to australia as that was considered more civilized
20-30% of our criminals were sent over there in the early 19th century
our last possible death penalty was stopped as late as 1998 (treason) with
last execution being in 1964

Really ? Well I think it's a good idea, these scum who break into people's houses and trash them for no good reason, steal car keys go joy riding and wrap the car round a tree. Not forgetting the fact that they could kill a child or a member of YOUR family lfc. I for one wouldn't shed a tear for scum like that. Plus you miss the fact they have the choice after being caught the first time to go on the straight and narrow. This excellent idea would also help the government with its police cuts. Think get rid of the scum less crime
