I strongly suspect this is on the high side. Any prices you know of in northern pubs on tap ?

I suspect plenty of customers order a pint or half without asking the price. I believe pubs have to have a printed price list on display though.

A fiver is pretty much par for the course for me near my gaff but I'm going to Stockholm in October and expect it to be 3 times that much for a pint.

Almost ashamed to say I paid £4.50 for a pint today at lunch. A decent red ale from Chile.

Can pay almost anything for craft ale - often served in 2/3 pint glasses and can be 6-8% or more.

e.g. Picadilly Tap just down from the station.
